Matthew believes that a lot of the challenges we faced when we were younger make us stronger. At the age of 14, his father committed suicide thus leaving him without a positive role model. He turned to comic books to fill the need for guidance. He looked at his life and he saw an idealized version of it in comics and he motivated himself to be like that. Honesty, integrity, courage and strength helped him through.

Follow your dream. Believe in yourself and what you are doing to make it happen. As you grow up find a hero and then be a hero to someone else. Love yourself and help other people. Matthew helps the Make a Wish Foundation and records for the Blind and Dyslectic.
